REEF McGARVEY (drummer), now deceased, was well-known as an accomplished Dixieland player who was resident drummer with the famed Trump Davidson Band for many years.

He was the featured drummer in two “Sound of Toronto Jazz” concerts in 1979 – with the Harvey Silver Band on December 3rd, and as a member of the Herbie Spanier Quartet on December 17th the same year.
