 Q: “You make a living out of writing, don’t you? It’s all freelance but you write almost exclusively about jazz…”

 

A: “Almost, I do a little bit of blues from time to time. I don't think that's unrelated and occasionally, folk. There is the column on Toronto Magazine, which is published by the, Globe which is a jazz/pop column, so occasionally I find myself doing little previews of Sting and Pink Floyd. But that's okay, a little variety.”
